The first time I remember getting excited about taking pictures was when I was around 8 years old. Me and my family were in the Smoky Mountains on vacation and my dad bought me a disposable camera from a little gift shop near one of the trails we were walking on. I remember going down near the water and snapping some pictures that I knew would be postcard-worthy once I got the roll developed.

Fast forward almost 30 years and landscape and street photography are still my specialty, but I have also fallen in love with capturing precious moments for people just like you.

Portrait photography has allowed me to explore creative elements in ways that landscape photography just can’t.
